Founder, JAS Studio
Venkatesan Sukumar is a seasoned musician, multi-instrumentalist, and professional session artist with over 30 years of experience in the Indian music and film industry. With a strong specialization in keyboard programming, rhythm programming, live recording, and music production, he has contributed to more than 1,300+ film projects across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema.
His career spans collaborations with some of India’s most respected music directors, including G.V. Prakash Kumar, Mani Sharma, M.M. Keeravani, Devi Sri Prasad, Gopi Sundar, Arjun Janya, V. Harikrishna, Anu Malik, Pritam, and many others. His work has been part of landmark films such as Baahubali, Kantara, Pulimurugan, Asuran, Theri, Pokiri, Indra, Okkadu, Bangalore Days, Dhoom, Jab We Met, and more.
With decades of hands-on experience in studio sessions, film recordings, orchestration, programming, and live performance, Venkatesan Sukumar brings deep musical understanding and professional precision to every project.
